Passion Review

Rating: ♥♥♥♥♥

Luce would die for Daniel.
And she has. Over and over again. Throughout time, Luce and Daniel have found each other, only to be painfully torn apart: Luce dead, Daniel left broken and alone. But perhaps it doesn’t need to be that way. . . .

Luce is certain that something—or someone—in a past life can help her in her present one. So she begins the most important journey of this lifetime . . . going back eternities to witness firsthand her romances with Daniel . . . and finally unlock the key to making their love last.
Cam and the legions of angels and Outcasts are desperate to catch Luce, but none are as frantic as Daniel. He chases Luce through their shared pasts, terrified of what might happen if she rewrites history. Because their romance for the ages could go up in flames... .forever.

'Passion' is different from the last two books. In this one Luce knows more about her past and the secrets than she ever has in any of her lifetimes. Pretty much throughout the whole book she is going through her past, traveling by Announcers and unlocking the truth of her and Daniel's love, and tries to find the loophole to keep her from going up in flames in this lifetime..only it may not have been Luce that created this loophole after all.

I was kind of sad that in this one, there is less Luce and Daniel together, it's more Luce traveling through time and Daniel never catching up to her. The end is not quite what I expected (in a good way!). It seems like it's going to be predictable when you get near the end but then it veers off in a new direction. This book was just as good, if not better, than 'Torment'. I can't wait to see what happens to Luce and Daniel in the fourth and (pretty sure) last book 'Rapture', which is said to be coming out early 2012.
