What It's About!

Dangerous to be together. Painful to be apart.Savannah Colbert knows she broke up with Tristan Coleman for the right reasons. Most of all, to keep from killing him with her new vampire abilities. But try telling her heart. Now, lost in a sea of hostile Clann faces, Sav tries to come to terms with what she's becoming and what that means for her future. And that someone is doing their best to bully her into making a terrible mistake.

Tristan can't believe Sav won't even talk to him. If being apart is her decision, fine. Just don't expect him to honor it. But even as he prepares to fight for the girl he loves, forces beyond their control take them both in directions neither could have foreseen or prepared for. A reckoning is coming… and not everyone will survive.

Review

Covet was so amazing, it almost literally blew my mind with how good it was. Unlike with Crave, Covet had no slow or boring parts, everything that was happening smoothly went from one event to the other and there was always something holding my attention, making me HAVE to turn to the next page. There are so many turning of events, it made for such a good book. At the end of Crave, Savannah was just finding out about her vampire side. In this book we see Savannah go through the transition from human to vampire, with new changes happening around every corner.

Tristan is also back in this book, only there isn't as much of him as there was in Crave. It's still all fireworks and sparks between him and Savannah, though they can't be together like before. I see why the author did it this way, having them not being able to be together, but I still would have loved them to be able to be together. I missed having Tristan and Savannah together as a couple, though they may or may not find a way around it. Can't tell you ;)  So many things and events happened that I don't know what else to say without totally giving something away, so I'm just gonna leave it at that.

Covet was almost 10 times more amazing than Crave. And I loved Crave, so that's saying something! It is definitely not your typical vampire/supernatural/paranormal series, it's much better. Even if you have read Crave and didn't care for it, you for sure have to give Covet a try, it's MUCH better than the first book.
