Following the tragic death of her parents, Eren Donovan moves to Spruce Knoll to live with her aunt. Now, Eren learns she not only lives among them, but she is one. When she meets local boy Aiden, his charming tricks show her being a channeler isn't all bad; in fact, it's kind of cool. What It's About!

When Grace's dad goes missing on a routine patrol, unlike everyone in her sleepy mountain town, she refuses to believe he’s dead. After finding a Cheetos bag and stolen government file, Grace is convinced she’s one step closer to proving all the non-believers wrong.
One day, while out tracking clues, Grace is rescued from imminent danger by Mo, a hot guy who has an intoxicating accent and a secret. Grace has never felt a connection like this before, certainly not with her ex-boyfriend, the adoring, but decidedly unrugged, Wyn.

After a few run-ins with the town's police chief, her father's partner, and some new evidence, Grace travels deeper into the wilderness that has always been her refuge only to learn that her father's disappearance is not a mere coincidence.

Soon she’s enmeshed in a web of conspiracy, deception, and murder. And it’s going to take a lot more than a compass and a motorcycle (named Lucifer) for this kick-butting heroine to emerge from an epidemic that’s spreading like wild fire, threatening everything and everyone she’s ever loved.

Bloodrose (Nightshade #3) by Andrea Cremer

Release Date: Jan 3rd/2012
414 pages

My Thoughts:
First off, I don't care what anybody says, I LOVE this cover. It goes really well with the first 2 covers. I ssoooo can't wait for this novel, I devoured Nightshade and Wolfsbane! I was planning on pre-ordering it, but I can't wait for it to come in the mail! I'm going out the day it's released and buying it ASAP. Along with a few other books that are out on Jan 3rd also, but they're second in line compared to this LOL. Also, for those of you who are just as hooked on this trilogy as I am, Andrea Cremer said she is gonna have something similar to this trilogy, but can't say what it is..I can't wait to find out! For those who haven't read these books yet...GO READ THEM! :)

 What It's About!

Calla has always welcomed war. But now that the final battle is upon her, there’s more at stake than fighting. There’s saving Ren, even if it incurs Shay’s wrath. There’s keeping Ansel safe, even if he’s been branded a traitor. There’s proving herself as the pack’s alpha, facing unnamable horrors, and ridding the world of the Keepers’ magic once and for all. And then there’s deciding what to do when the war ends. If Calla makes it out alive, that is.

In the final installment of the Nightshade trilogy, New York Times bestselling author Andrea Cremer creates a novel with twists and turns that will keep you on the edge of your seat until its final pages. A dynamic end to this breathtaking trilogy.

Lost In Time Review

Rating: ♥♥♥♥

Pub Date: Sept 27th/2011
342 pages

With all roads leading to Hell, Mimi learns that not all love stories have happy endings. But she'll have to put her own feelings aside if she's going to save her crumbling Coven. Packed with heartache, twists, and vampiric folklore, Lost in Time is sure to satisfy hungry fans' cravings for more Blue Bloods adventure.

Even though I loved this book, it didn't seem to flow as well as the first 5 books in this series. I feel like it didn't totally continue right from where we left off in the 5th book and it was confusing at first. Especially when it came to Allegra. In the 5th book, Allegra had finally woken up out of her coma, so in this one, I was expecting it to continue with her after she woke up, but it went back to the past and basically told us the back story her Allegra and Charles. I feel like this could have been in one of the "on the side books", like how the back story of Schuyler and Jack's bonding ceremony is in Keys to the Repository. Everyone seems to literally end up in hell one way or another throughout the novel, which was kind of funny, in a way. There was never really any dull, boring parts, there was a lot of action, and a lot going on, but I kind of feel like Melissa rushed this novel a bit. A lot of questions from the previous books were answered, though and a few loose ends got tied up. For some reason though, I feel like something was missing in this novel that was in the first 5. Idk, maybe it's just me lol. If you've read the other books in this series, definitely read this one, but I don't highly recommend it if you haven't.

The Summoning Review

Rating: ♥♥♥♥♥

Pub July 1rst/2008
390 pages
Source: Bought

My name is Chloe Saunders and my life will never be the same again.
All I wanted was to make friends, meet boys, and keep on being ordinary. I don't even know what that means anymore. It all started on the day that I saw my first ghost—and the ghost saw me.
Now there are ghosts everywhere and they won't leave me alone. To top it all off, I somehow got myself locked up in Lyle House, a "special home" for troubled teens. Yet the home isn't what it seems. Don't tell anyone, but I think there might be more to my housemates than meets the eye. The question is, whose side are they on? It's up to me to figure out the dangerous secrets behind Lyle House… before its skeletons come back to haunt me.

I read this a long time ago but I thought I'd do a review on it anyway. I remember I wasn't sure if I'd like this series, but I bought this book (#1) and the 2nd one at the same time. As soon as I started reading the first page of this book, I was immediately drawn in and i couldn't stop reading it! I finished it in two days, it is one of the best books in this genre I have ever read! Chloe is an awesome character and very relate-able. She gets sent to this house for troubled kids, even though it's actually for "special" kids with powers and special abilities. Her two best friends end up being 2 brothers, and they find a way to escape Lyle House. It's at the Lyle House where Chloe first discovers her real abilities, not just being able to see ghosts. Right away in the first chapter things start happening. There are a couple slow parts but none that make you want to fall asleep because they drag out so long. I devoured this book and had to read the 2nd one as soon as I finished this one!

Touch of Power by Maria V. Snyder

Release Date: Dec 20th/2011
400 pages

My Thoughts:
I've actually got this as an ebook for review. I took a sneak peak and read the first 4 or 5 pages (I was just gonna read the first paragraph!) and it pulled me in right away. I wanna read it so bad right now but I'm already trying to read a couple books for review! Definitely reading this next though!

What It's About!

Laying hands upon the injured and dying, Avry of Kazan assumes their wounds and diseases into herself. But rather than being honored for her skills, she is hunted. Healers like Avry are accused of spreading the plague that has decimated the Territories, leaving the survivors in a state of chaos.

Stressed and tired from hiding, Avry is abducted by a band of rogues who, shockingly, value her gift above the golden bounty offered for her capture. Their leader, an enigmatic captor-protector with powers of his own, is unequivocal in his demands: Avry must heal a plague-stricken prince—leader of a campaign against her people. As they traverse the daunting Nine Mountains, beset by mercenaries and magical dangers, Avry must decide who is worth healing and what is worth dying for. Matched Review

Rating: ♥♥♥♥♥

Cassia has always trusted the Society to make the right choices for her: what to read, what to watch, what to believe. So when Xander's face appears on-screen at her Matching ceremony, Cassia knows with complete certainty that he is her ideal mate... until she sees Ky Markham's face flash for an instant before the screen fades to black.
The Society tells her it's a glitch, a rare malfunction, and that she should focus on the happy life she's destined to lead with Xander. But Cassia can't stop thinking about Ky, and as they slowly fall in love, Cassia begins to doubt the Society's infallibility and is faced with an impossible choice: between Xander and Ky, between the only life she's known and a path that no one else has dared to follow.

Three words: SO.FREAKING.AMAZING.! I have never read anything like this! At the start of the book it was hard to read after I got into it a bit, just because everyone is controlled by the Society and Officials and nobody really has an actual choice. Life is pretty much the same day to day, not a hair out of place. If it is, there is usually trouble to follow. When Cassia and Xander are Matched at the Match Banquet, I was so 'Team Xander', but by the time I finished the last page of the novel, HELLO, 'Team Ky' here! I love Xander but he's more like the child hood best friend, practically your brother, I think there's more sparks between Cassia and Ky than with Xander. I love how as the novel goes on, Cassia starts to come out of her shell more and more and starts to see things the way they really are. I got so emotionally into this book, especially in certain parts like when her grandpa dies and gives her that poem out of her compact that's not one of the 'hundred poems', or when Ky was being taken away from the neighborhood, omg, so heartbreaking! I HAVE to read Crossed book #2 ASAP! This novel does not disappoint...so go read it! :)

My Thoughts:
This book sounds A.M.A.Z.I.N.G.!

What It's About!

Two days before the start of her junior year, seventeen-year-old Janelle Tenner is hit by a pickup truck and killed—as in blinding light, scenes of her life flashing before her, and then nothing. And even though it isn’t possible, Janelle knows—with every fiber of her being—that Ben has somehow brought her back to life. But her reincarnation, and Ben’s possible role in it, is only the first of the puzzles that Janelle must solve. While snooping in her FBI-agent father’s files for clues about her accident, she uncovers a clock that seems to be counting down to something—but to what? And when someone close to Janelle is killed, she can no longer deny what’s right in front of her: Everything that’s happened—the accident, the murder, the countdown clock, Ben’s sudden appearance in her life—points to the end of life as she knows it. And as the clock ticks down, she realizes that if she wants to put a stop to the end of the world, she’s going to need to uncover Ben’s secrets—and keep from falling in love with him in the process. From debut author Elizabeth Norris comes this shattering novel of one girl’s fight to save herself, her world, and the one boy she never saw coming.
